We are offering an opportunity for a motivated and communicative individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant / Sales Advisor. This role is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, has a natural confidence on the phone, and wants to build real, practical experience in sales.
The position focuses on engaging with customers from our existing enquiry and customer database. These are not cold calls. Customers already know our company and have previously expressed interest in our products. Your role is to follow up on those enquiries, answer questions, explain options clearly, and help customers move confidently towards a decision.
In addition, you will respond to enquiries received through social media, email, and phone, and attend customer meetings when required. You will receive full training on our products, systems, and sales approach, ensuring you are well prepared and supported in the role.
This position is offered under the JobStart Scheme and is intended for individuals who are currently unemployed and in receipt of benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Contacting customers from an existing enquiry and customer database
- Handling enquiries via phone, email, and social media channels
- Presenting products and services in a clear, professional, and engaging way
- Following up with customers and supporting the sales process
- Attending customer meetings when required
- Maintaining accurate and basic records of customer interactions
